Refund Policy

1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for paid AKRetro subscriptions (Pro and Business). Paid plans are sold and processed by a third-party payment provider; refunds are issued by that provider to your original payment method once authorised by us.
2. 14-day money-back guarantee
If you are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 14 daysof your first payment for a paid plan. Contact us from your account email and we'll refund that initial charge — no hard feelings.
3. Cancellations and renewals
- You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops all future renewals.
- Your plan stays active until the end of the current paid period; after that your account reverts to the free plan and its limits.
- Monthly plans: beyond the 14-day window above, the current month is non-refundable, but you will not be billed again after you cancel.
- Annual plans: refundable within 14 days of the charge (initial or renewal). After 14 days the current year is non-refundable, but you can cancel to prevent the next renewal.
4. Duplicate or accidental charges
Duplicate, accidental, or unauthorised charges are refunded in full. Please contact us as soon as you notice one.
5. Free plan
The free plan is free of charge, so there is nothing to refund.
6. How to request a refund
Email contact@akretro.com from your account email, including the order or transaction reference from your payment receipt. We typically respond within 2 business days. Once approved, the payment provider processes the refund to your original payment method (it can take several business days to appear on your statement).
7. Chargebacks
If you think you were charged in error, please contact us first — we can usually resolve it faster than a bank dispute.
